Rolls Royce Ghost

The Rolls Royce Ghost is powered by an impressive 6.6L twin-turbo V12 that makes 563 horsepower. It's mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and features a column-style shift lever.The engine makes its peak 575 pound-feet of torque at just 1,500 rpm, so the Ghost 'wafts' up to speed in classic English luxury-car fashion, albeit with even less noise in the cabin than in past Rolls-Royce models. Zero-to-60 mph acceleration takes just 4.7 seconds, while the top speed is an electronically limited 155 mph.The Ghost follows Rolls Royce styling tradition on the outside, for the most part, with a long hood, short front overhand and an upright windshield.

The modern Ghost has just a little more modern panache, especially on the inside.The hood, grille and windshield surround can be done in a polished satin finish if desired.Teflon-coated umbrellas are integrated into the front doors, while the rear-hinged rear doors open up to 83 degrees and can be closed by just touching a button.A panoramic sunroof lets a lot of light in from overhead as well, while quad-zone climate control makes sure that everyone is comfortable. Lamborghini Reventon - Luxury Car

The Reventón is named for a fighting bull, in line with Lamborghini tradition. The bull, raised by Don Heriberto Rodríguez, was best known for killing famed Mexican bullfighter Felix Guzmán in 1943. Reventón means "small explosion" or "burst" in Spanish, when used as a noun. 

In the vernacular, it is also used to define a very large party or a night in town. In automotive terms, it means "blowout or flat tire" when used as a noun. When it was used as the name of a bull, however, it was intended to be interpreted as an adjective, a quality or property of that bull in particular. In this last sense, reventón means "he who seems to be about to burst". Or, in the case of a flower (a carnation, un clavel reventón) in its maximum point, of luxuriance or a mouth (una boca reventona), for its beauty and fullness.

A roadster version of the vehicle was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car would use the engine from the Murciélago LP 670–4 Super Veloce. Autocar has since published a report, in June 2009, saying that potential buyers have been shown the car although a Lamborghini spokesman told the publication that reports of the car were "just speculation".[20] Production was set for a run of 15 units, with a MSRP of €1,100,000. 

The Reventón Roadster has a slightly lower top speed than the Reventón, its top speed is 205 mph and it takes just 3.3s to reach 62 mph. (wiki)

BMW GT CONCEPT

These superb 3D models of a futuristic BMW sports car concept are not the work of the BMW design department but rather, were created by an Iranian design student, Emil Baddal.

Emil had given CarAdvice permission to post these high-resolution pics of the car and we are delighted to do so Billed as a super sports car, which would be powered by the same M TwinPower Turbo V8 that sits under the bonnet of the X6 M, we think there would be plenty of buyers willing to stand in the queue if BMW were to build such a car.

There isn’t a lot more we can tell you about the car, other than we sure hope the lead BMW design team in Munich has cast their creative eyes over these pics, as I for one would love to see one of these things on the road.

That said it does seem to be an iteration of sorts of BMW’s current ‘Vision’ Efficient Dynamics design language as represented by the ‘Vision’ car which was on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year.
